In addition to my work with Half Straddle and Big Dance Theater, I’ve created original scores, compositions and sound designs for many theatrical productions, primarily for downtown NY experimental dance and theater makers. Some favorite collaborations include: We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia, Formerly Known as Southwest Africa, From the German Sudwestafrika, Between the Years 1884-1915 by Jackie Sibblies Drury at Soho Rep, Untitled Feminist Show and the Public Theater’s production of Straight White Men by Young Jean Lee, You’re Me by Faye Driscoll, Pink Melon Joy by Getrude Stein, directed by Katherine Brook / TeleViolet, My Old Man by Jess Barbagallo, Heartbreak by Ariel Stess, and 3 2’s or AFAR by Mac Wellman.
I also scored the 74 minute documentary Front Door Blue Sky about The Wooden Floor, a community-outreach-driven dance studio in Los Angeles, directed by Karinne Keithley Syers and Jennie Marytai Liu.
